    About Mrs.Cronin

    Where are you from?

I am originally from Queens, NY. I moved to Long Island after college. I now live in East Islip.

    What is your education?

I earned both my Bachelor of Arts and Masters degrees from Hofstra University. I am certified in Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities.

How long have you been a teacher?

I have 10 years of teaching experience in various grades and school settings.

    My favorite Saint is:

The name I chose for my confirmation is Elizabeth, after my favorite Saint, Elizabeth Ann Seton. I admire her unwavering faith, dedication to education, and commitment to helping others.

My favorite quote is by Albert Einstein: "Imagination is more important then knowledge." This quote emphasizes the power of creativity and innovation. Knowledge is essential, but it is imagination that drives us to explore new ideas and solve complex problems.

I love to read and find it difficult to pick just one book. Each book I read offers something unique. I am always eager to discover new stories and ideas!

  • 2024 - 2025 School Year

    Welcome Students

Students can look forward to engaging and dynamic hands on learning experiences. I believe in using a variety of tools and resources to make science come alive for students. Through experiments, STEM challenges, and educational games, students will have the opportunity to explore scientific concepts in an interactive and fun way.

    Greetings Parents

I look forward to getting to know my students and their families throughout the school year. Thank you for choosing St. Joseph's School for your child's education. I am truly grateful for the trust you have placed in us and I am excited to embark on this journey together.
