May

Dear Parents:

May promises to be enlightening with all our spring critters and flowers popping out.

Spring has arrived… and the children are all showing signs of blossoming by sharing listening and being polite, cooperating a little more each day.  Thank you for reinforcing all the activities we are doing. Here are some ways that you can work with your child at home. Look for patterns around your house and name them with your child.  You can also have your child draw shapes on a piece of paper, put them together and have them color them. Let’s count. What would you like to count?

We welcome the sunshine. Children seem eager to be here at school and ready to play. We’ve been doing some growing, some planting and a lot of reading about Spring. Our growing kids need outside time more than most years. We had a wet winter!! Please put sunscreen on your child for their protection.

We will be exploring the outdoors with our magnifying glasses and binoculars as part of our STREAM activities. A fun time will be had by all.

Serenity,

Mrs Leonenko and Mrs Joyce
