Art Projects for November-December:
An Indian Headress: Students are shown symbols that were part of the decorative art of the Native Americans.  They are instructed to select a few symbols and draw them onto the central area of their rectangular form.  They are also instructed to design the top and bottom of their headdress with a repeat pattern of geometric shapes.  The completed drawing is colored with crayons that are the colors used by that culture.

A Santa Head and Shoulders Drawing:  This project is a study of how to accurately draw facial features.  Students are shown drawings of Santa.  They are instructed to follow a demonstration and draw his face.  They add his hat and costume.  The drawing is colored with a crayon background and oil pastels
