the upright guardian of those entrusted to his care.
May he always guard, protect and enlighten familes.

This week we will be working on these skills:
All of the children should have downloaded their own copy of the March Book Report from GOOGLE classroom and have chosen a fiction book to read.
We will be concentrating on preparing for the upcoming NYS ELA Test which takes place on March 28, 29 and 30. We will be reviewing comprehension and writing skills using booklets from past tests to become familiar with the format of the tests.
A very important skill is the ability to locate information in a text that will help in choosing the correct multiple choice answer. This "text evidence" also aids in supporting a written response.
Homework this week will be assignments closely aligned with the NYS ELA Exam.
It will be best for your child to read and complete these assignments on their own.
A Practice Part 2 of The ELA exam will be given this week
