Happy Mothers Day Heart.png

Dear Parents,

IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE:

Please note: Our Mother's Day Tea has moved to Wednesday, May 16. (9:10- in the classroom)

WE WISH ALL OUR MOMS A VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A MOM TO BRIGHTEN OUR DAY!

Mother's Day is coming soon and we are very excited  about our "Mother's Day Tea" and all the wonderful surprises the children have been working on. We are so proud of the beautiful job they are doing!  Each and every present has been worked on with much love and care. The children are looking forward to performing some wonderful songs for you. I have written a special poem and we are looking forward to sharing it at our tea! We are thrilled to have our moms or a special guest from your family on this fabulous day!

We are very proud to share the beautiful display of your child's work in the classroom , as well as in the hall. Please continue to enjoy your child's work when you visit!

"April Showers Bring May Flowers"  This month we will continue discussing all the changes around us.  We will reinforce how flowers grow, babies being born, and all the beautiful colors around us.  Please continue to take time to point out all of these wondrous miracles God shows us in everyday life.  You will be helping your child expand their language, communication skills and help them to be eager learners.  Spring is in the air and the children are filled with enthusiasm and excitement. Weather permitting, we are looking forward to going outside to the playground.

SPECIAL ACTIVITY:

We are making a special" Number Book" for you.  The students are coloring each number and we are using their fingerprints to create special pictures . We know you will enjoy this special project, as much as we enjoyed making it!

The children are continuing to follow our morning routine with great confidence and success.  They identify their names, hang up their coats, place their tote bags in a bin, and meet on our carpet for varied activities. (ex:calendar time: each student will take a turn in leading calendar time by singing our days of the week song, placing the date on the calendar, talking about the weather in a complete sentence, and  counting.) We will be working on writing our names, and learning our address and phone numbers. Please reinforce these skills at home. Our little stars will be prepared and ready when they enter Pre-K!

 EXCITING NEWS:

Just a quick update as to how the children are receiving the Smart T.V. activities: We are amazed each and every day at the interpretation and their eagerness to learn a new functioning every time we use it!  We are so proud of them! We are seeing positive results in learning in utilizing this tool.  We are so fortunate to have this interactive tool at our disposal to enhance the childrens education. What a wonderful investment for their future.
